SOMETHING I WILL ALWAYS LOVE: THE FOX IS BLACK'S DESKTOP WALLPAPER PROJECT

"The Fox Is Black is an art and design blog that seeks to discover and share the most interesting and inspiring parts of contemporary life and culture. Ran by Bobby Solomon, the site is formerly known as Kitsune Noir and started in April of 2007 as a way of sharing ideas, ideas that range from design to culture to music to film"

I took that directly from their website only because I think they summed up what they are better than I could have. Every Wednesday The Fox Is Black releases a new desktop wallpaper for YOUR computer by some amazing designers, illustrators, and photographers. They call this feature The Desktop Wallpaper Project. My friend Corina showed me their site two years ago and I always use it to find something fresh or just cool looking for my computer(s).

This desktop wallpaper by KIM HØLTERMAND is currently on my laptop. Kim is a freelance architectural and landscape photographer from Denmark. You can find more wallpapers from Kim here.

This desktop wallpaper is by Ben Newman. I'm using it on my (and my family's) desktop machine right now. Ben is an illustrator from the UK (I presume). There are a few Ben Newman's out there but I found the one I was looking for. His work is really cool and his FAQ on his website is really interesting. He's featured in the Desktop Wallpaper Project twice; part 1 and part 2.

There are so many cool wallpapers featured and they always keep the past wallpapers up and available too. They come in all different sizes and they even have backgrounds for your iPhones! I've had a few in the past. I think that this is a really cool way to appreciate art every day (or whenever you use your computer) and I just love that artists like displaying their work like this for free to the public. You should check it out and see what you like it. Maybe you'll even start liking a new artist because of it.
